About me!

Lived In Nutrition was built on one foundation: keeping God at the center of my life and this business.

My faith shapes the way I see health, nourishment, and the way we care for our bodies. I believe we are deeply loved and intentionally created, and that caring for ourselves doesn’t have to be complicated, rigid, or all-consuming.

My love for nutrition didn’t start in a textbook. It started in my own life.

Walking through personal health struggles left me wanting more than a quick fix. I wanted to understand the why behind what I was experiencing and learn how to truly support my body. That journey brought me back to something much simpler: real, whole foods, daily movement, and small choices made consistently over time.

And that’s really the heart behind Lived In Nutrition.

Because nutrition has to work in a life that’s actually being lived.

There will be busy weeks, dinners out, celebrations, life changes, and days when everything doesn’t go according to plan. I don’t believe health is found in doing everything perfectly. I believe it’s found in learning to nourish and care for your body throughout all seasons of life.

Food was designed to nourish and support us.

My approach is simple:

  • Food first
  • Daily movement
  • Consistency over perfection
  • No extremes or temporary fixes
  • Simple habits that fit into real life

tHis is nutrition, lived in.

Why choose me?

Choosing the right Nutrition Therapy Practitioner means finding someone who listens, understands your goals, and helps you create realistic changes that fit your life. I take a personalized, whole-body approach to nutrition, focusing not just on food, but on the habits, lifestyle factors, and underlying imbalances that may be affecting your health.

I believe nutrition should never be one-size-fits-all. Every person has a unique health history, lifestyle, relationship with food, routine, preferences, and set of goals. My approach begins with listening closely and understanding the full picture of your needs so we can create a plan that feels realistic, supportive, and sustainable.

A personalized nutrition plan becomes even more effective when progress is tracked in meaningful ways. Measured results help show what is working, where adjustments may be needed, and how your body is responding over time.

the five foundations

It starts with nourishment.

Food is more than calories or numbers on a label—it’s information and nourishment for the body. I take a food-first approach centered around real, whole, nutrient-dense foods that provide the building blocks your body needs to function well.

This isn’t about eating perfectly or following a restrictive plan. It’s about learning how to build meals that nourish you, satisfy you, and fit into the life you’re actually living.

It’s not only what you eat—it’s how well your body can use it.

Digestion plays such an important role in how we feel day to day. Even the most nutrient-dense diet can only do so much if the body is struggling to break down, absorb, and utilize those nutrients.

We look at supporting digestion from a north to south approach—from slowing down at meals and chewing well to creating habits that support your body’s natural digestive process.

Rest is part of nourishment.

Sleep is often one of the first things we sacrifice when life gets busy, but it’s foundational to how our bodies function and recover.

We look at simple rhythms and habits that help support quality, restorative rest—because caring for your body also means giving it permission to slow down.

Your body feels the pace of your life.

Stress is a normal part of being human, and the goal isn’t to create a perfectly stress-free life. It’s learning how to support your body through the seasons that feel full, demanding, or uncertain.

We look at practical ways to create more room for rest, movement, connection, and rhythms that help you feel supported—not another overwhelming list of things you should be doing.

Steady nourishment can make a big difference.

Blood sugar naturally rises and falls throughout the day, and the way we build our meals can help support more balanced patterns.

By focusing on balanced, satisfying meals with quality protein, healthy fats, fiber-rich carbohydrates, and whole foods, we can create a steadier foundation for the body—without obsessing over numbers or fearing certain foods.
